During the first decade of the 2000s, GOC carried out the technical assistance for the control and supervision of the work on the project of the Satellite Building for the New Terminal Area at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid – Barajas Airport, which accommodates international flights outside the Schengen area.
This building, with an area of almost 300,000 m2 and belonging to T4, is 1km away from the main building, and connects to it by an automatic, subway train called APM ? (Automated People Mover).
